Helping Out

Open source projects gain popularity and thrive because of the invaluable contributions of many people. Everyone is capable of helping in some regard, and we encourage you to pitch in however you can.

Contributing Financially

Our commercial support services are the best way to contribute financially to the project, and you receive a valuable service in turn. For those with smaller budgets, you can contribute money to the project's general fund via PayPal here. You can contribute there with a credit card without having a PayPal account. These important contributions go to fund project expenses, such as hosting servers, domain name registrations, testing hardware, funding our annual developer conference ("hackathon"), and more.

Helping Other Users

Our mailing lists and forums see hundreds of people seeking help every week. There are more questions than the developers can possibly field. Numerous people help out by answering questions on the lists and forum.

Contributing Documentation

We can always use help with creating documentation.
