Recommended Hardware Vendors

Several hardware resellers have made much needed contributions of hardware and money to assist our development efforts, fund hackathons, and cover the other expenses of running this project over the past 5+ years.

The following companies sell the hardware the developers use. This means purchasing from these vendors ensures the device is thoroughly tested, and if compatibility problems come up in future releases they will likely get fixed more quickly.

In addition to the benefits of well tested hardware, it is important for our user community to support the companies that keep this project running.

Netgate - Seller of a wide variety of wireless equipment, ALIX boards and enclosures, and more.

Hacom - Seller of a variety of firewall hardware, some with pfSense pre-installed.

ApplianceShop.eu - Global reseller of OPNsense pfSense appliances including free electronic Definitive Guide copies with hardware purchase.

PC Engines - Creators and resellers of the popular WRAP and ALIX platforms.

Rockbochs - Seller of the STRONGBOCHS pfSense appliance

www.OsNet.eu - French Reseller of ALIX boards and high end appliances, documentation and consulting services.

Yawarra - Australian reseller of Soekris and PC Engines hardware, as well as other firewall appliances.

HeroLogic - Creator and seller of embedded hardware solutions.

Titan Wireless - Reseller of a variety of wireless equipment
